Woodmen Life Presents Annual Community Awards

Woodmen Life Chapter 120 of Dillon, S.C., held the Annual Awards Banquet on Thursday, September 27, at 7:00 p.m. at the Woodmen Hall on the Old Latta Highway.
President Judy Herring welcomed everyone.
Dianne Cox had the Pledge of Allegiance followed by the Invocation by Tim Hunt.
Everyone enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner and fellowship before the introduction of the National and State Officers by Libby Bedenbaugh.
Judy Herring introduced the local officers while Tim Houlahan made some remarks of the Field Force.
Brian Carroll, Regional Director made some remarks.
Randy Barnett informed the group of what the Community Outreach was doing.
Randy Barnett presented the National & Charter Fraternalist Award to Gail Woodle. She was also the recipient of the South Carolina Fraternalist Award.
Barbara Causey presented the Community Partner award to the Help For Veterans, Inc. represented by Johnnie Daniels.
The Life Saver award was presented to Justin and Jennifer Price by Barbara Causey.
Mrs. Molly Pittman was the recipient of the Caring For Others award presented by Judy Herring.
J.D. Woodle was presented the Environmentalist award by Gail Woodle.
Edwin Stephens, who was not present due to another commitment, was presented the Community Leader award by Gail Woodle.
The Memorial Service of those of the Chapter who had passed away during the last year was by Dianne Cox and Barbara Causey.
Door prizes were given to all by Gail Woodle, Maxine Jackson, Nell Price, and Jennifer Price.
President Judy Herring had the closing notes for the evening awards.
The closing prayer was by Tim Hunt.
