Charles Lewis Scott, 65, went to be with his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, September 9, 2018.
Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at East Dillon Baptist Church with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Born in Dillon County, SC, June 12, 1953, he was the son of the late William Chesley Scott and Julie Brown Scott of Dillon. Charles was saved by God’s amazing grace and was a faithful member of East Dillon Baptist Church. He was retired from the Lumber Business after many years. He loved his wife, his sons, daughters-in-law, his grandchildren, his church and his many friends, and he loved to talk politics!
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 46 years, Linda Page Scott of Dillon; two loving sons, Charles Kevin Scott (Gina) of Dillon, and Jason Bradley Scott (Melissa) of Florence; sisters, Kay McKenzie (Dick), and Barbara Hayes, both of Dillon; two brothers, Carl W. Scott (Dean) of Floydale and David Scott (Ann) of Dillon.
He was blessed with four grandchildren that he adored with all his heart; grandsons, Layne and Jacob Scott of Dillon; granddaughters, Madelyn and Gabrielle Scott of Florence; many nieces and nephews.
