Wilmer Arnette, 77, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, August 18, 2018.
Born in Dillon County, SC, October 30, 1940, he was the son of the late Clarence Arnette and Leona Turner Arnette. He was manager of Trico Water Company, and was on the board of the SC Rural Water Association.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 20, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service at the church.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Brenda Faye Johnson Arnette of Dillon; son, Wilmer Arnette, Jr. (Dawn) of Dillon; grandchildren, Kristl Gibson (Casey), Brandi Arnette, and Corbin Arnette (Kathryn); great-grandchildren, Paisley, Case, and Cayden; sister, Maxine Price (Troy) of Hamer.
Mr. Arnette was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Pauline Arnette Webster; and brother, Clifford Arnette.
