ALPHA ALPHA CHAPTER SERVES LOCAL SHELTER—Members of Alpha Alpha Chapter of Alpha Pi Chi Sorority spent an afternoon shopping to provide service to children and their mother at the Dillon County Pee Dee Community Action Agency Emergency Shelter. The chapter collaborated with representatives at the agency to address the problem of homelessness here in Dillon. In keeping with the initiative of combating homelessness and hunger, the members agreed to donate school supplies, toiletries, household products, and healthy snacks. The chapter is committed to this worthwhile cause: “service for children and families.” Alpha Alpha Chapter will continue to fight childhood hunger and help combat homelessness by continuing to donate food and household items to the shelter throughout the next three years.
