McCoy Chapel U. M. Church Spiritual Choir celebrated their 39th Choir Anniversary on Saturday, March 14, 2018.
The pastor of McCoy Chapel is Rev. Ronald McCall. Various choirs from South and North Carolina participated on the program, they were: Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, New Zion A.M.E. Church, Dillon High School Gospel Choir, Weeping Willow Baptist Church, Miller’s Chapel AMEZ Church, Bread of Life of Free Rock Baptist Church, Bowling Green UM Church, Fork Chapel Baptist Church, New St. Mark Baptist Church, Temple of Deliverance Holiness and New Zion Baptist Church (Lumberton, NC). The theme for the anniversary was “Prayer Room.” The master of ceremony for the program was Rev. Anthony Alford. The scripture was by Mary Mack, the prayer by Denise Whittington and the welcome by Sherry McNeil. The program was dedicated in memory of Deloris McNeil, Mary Rogers Williams, Joyce Bethea Morrison and Latrice Camp Williams. Closing remarks were given by Renzalow “Bo” Mack, president of the choir and benediction by Rev. Anthony Alford.
The choir would like to thank everyone for helping to making the program a blessed and successful one.
