Aileen Jackson

Mrs. Aileen Jackson, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services were held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Home with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation was 2:00-3:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Born in Dillon County, November 8, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Neil Norton, Sr. and Carrie Lee Berry. She was the widow of the late Leo Jackson, member of Dillon First Baptist Church, and worked Dillon County Health Department for 20 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Moody of Dillon; son, Michael Jackson (Wanda) of Dillon; grandchildren, Brandon Moody (Nicki) and Blake Jackson of Dillon; step-daughter, Amy Freeman McColl (Terry); step-great-grandchildren, Peyton & Aubree Freeman; special family friends, Ryan, Shannon, Nicholas, and Cain Berry, and Lee, Tia, and Gracie Jones.
Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her brother, Neil Norton, Jr. and a sister, Lura Dean Norton.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina.
