Lady Cats Get Softball Win In Turbeville

Tori Grimsley pitched the complete 7-inning game for the Lady Wildcats in the 10-5 win on Tuesday, March 7, in Turbeville. Grimsley allowed 6 hits, 5 runs of which 4 were earned, walked 4, and struck out 5.
East Clarendon’s Marleigh Floyd was tagged with the loss. She pitched 6 and two-thirds innings and allowed 16 hits, 10 runs of which all were earned, walked no one, and struck out 2 batters.
The Lady Wildcats’ Skylar McCoy went 3 for 4 at the plate with 3 rbi. Auh’Kieria Smiling was 3 for 5 at the plate with a rbi while Ashley Phillips for 3 for 4 at the plate. Olivia Singletary was 3 for 4 at the plate with a rbi for East Clarendon.
Dillon is 4-0 for the season.
Dillon will host Hartsville at 6:00 p.m. Friday, March 10.
