Julia Naugle McIntyre, 81, of Dillon, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Presbyterian Community of Florence. She was a daughter of the late Emery Ivan Naugle and Joyce Matthew Naugle. She is also predeceased by her husband, David Monroe McIntyre; one brother William Naugle and two sons; Charles Walker and Jefferson Emery McIntyre. She is survived by a sister, Glennis Naugle Redding of Gloversville, NY and by a brother Emery Ivan Naugle, Jr of Blackstone, VA; one son David Monroe McIntyre, II (Melva) and two grandsons, David Monroe McIntyre, III and Alexander Samuel McIntyre of Harrisburg, NC, Julia is also survived by a brother-in-law, Jimbo McLellan and a sister-in-law, Fay (Howard) Sloan. Julia was a member of Latta Prebyterian Church and a member of the choir. In addition to being an artist, Julia was also a pianist and was a member of Piano Guild, USA, Hall of Fame. A private burial service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Evergreen Perpetual Care Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at Latta Presbyterian Church, directed by Cooper Funeral Home.
