Clarence Morris

Services for Clarence Morris will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Morris, 71, died Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Novant-Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, NC.

Born in Dillon County, SC, December 16, 1943, he was the son of the late Corey and Magger Morris. He was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army having served in the Vietnam War, and he received the Purple Heart.

Survivors include his daughters, Mary (Jessie) Rowell of Little Rock, and Debbie Morris Roberts (Jimmy) of Maxton, NC; grandchildren, Travis (Betsy) Rowell, Cody Rowell, Joyce Rowell, Jamie Rowell, Emily Roberts, and Martin Roberts; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, C.J. Morris of Lake View, and Bill Morris of Lumberton; and special friends.
