James B. Grice of Bingham won third place at the 2015 AKC World Coonhound Championship held in Holmesville, Ohio.

This world championship competition was held Thursday, May 14, through Saturday, May 16, and consisted of a three night elimination hunt.

James’s Treeing Walker, Grand Nite Champion Reedy Creek Li’l Darlin won the title of AKC World Coonhound Championship Treeing Walker for 2015 and has been officially recorded a Supreme Grand Nite Champion by The American Kennel Club.

James and Li’l Darlin also won second place at the 2015 Sportmix Championship in Whitmire, SC, on Friday, March 6, and Saturday, March 7, and has competed in many other AKC, PKC, and UKC (Grand American top 20 in 2014) hunts through the years.

James is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting, but he has a passion for coon hunting.

“I was so proud of him. He’s been hunting all his life and now he’s running with the Big Dogs!” his son Michael said proudly.
