Gators Fall to Warriors, Raiders

The Lake View Wild Gators fell to Creek Bridge and Hannah-Pamplico this weekend in boys varsity basketball action.

Lake View hosted Creek Bridge on Friday and fell 59-41 to the visiting Warriors. After a close first half that ended with the Gators leading 24-23, Creek Bridge outscored Lake View 36-17 in the second to claim the win.

Crishon Jordan scored a game-high 25 points to lead Lake View in the effort and Chavis Nichols added eight points for the Wild Gators, and Anthony Bines, Reco Brown, Thomas Bullock, and Xavier Johnson each contributed two points.

Myles Branham led Creek Bridge with a team-high 15 points with Dejuan Surrency adding 11 and William Brown earning 10. Jalen Eaddy scored 9; Darren Butler, 6; Elijah Branham, 4; Marquel Biggers, 2; and Tyson Bromell, 2.

On Saturday, Lake View hosted Hannah-Pamplico and fell 69-54 to the visiting Raiders.

Hannah-Pamplico took an 8-7 lead in the first quarter but Lake View pulled ahead with an 18-15 second to lead 25-23 at the half. But the Raiders went 15-12 in the third to take the lead and poured in the points in the fourth to seal the win.

Crishon Jordan scored a game-high 25 points for Lake View in the effort, with Reco Brown and Chavis Nichols each adding eight. Thomas Butler and Jeremy Moody both scored four points and Duane Nichols added two with Emmanuel Williams scoring one.

Roy Ellis led the Raiders with 23 points and Jerried Self added 16 in the win. Jakar Beach scored 7; Brandon Williamson, 6; Tyshon Washington, 4; Dylan Gardner, 3; Nick Eaddy, 3; and J.C. Woodberry, 2.

Lake View was scheduled to host Green Sea Floyds this week and is scheduled to be at Latta on Thursday.
