The relay team included Kierra Johnson, Iyonna McKenzie, Brittany Burgess and Jessica Evans. The relay team also finished second in the 4×400 relay.
The Latta Girls also medaled in several other events, with Iyonna McKenzie taking second place in the 100 Meter and fourth in the 200 Meter; Kierra Johnson finishing third in the 100 Meter Hurdles; Jessica Evans finishing sixth in the 200 Meter; Brittany Burgess finishing third in the high jump; and Kierra Johnson finishing sixth in the high jump.
The Lady Vikings finished sixth overall in the state in Class A track.
In boys track, Latta’s Jeremiah Hayes finished fifth in the 3200 Meter. Carvers Bay claimed the Class A Boys State Championship with a score of 106.5.
