Dillon Wildcats Defeat Lake View’s Wild Gators 69-31

The Dillon Wildcats outscored Lake View 41-15 in the second half on Monday’s game to claim a 69-31 win over the Wild Gators.

Dillon hosted the Wild Gators and got off to an 11-7 lead in the first and outscored Lake View 17-9 in the second to lead 28-26 at the half. After a 17-9 third quarter, Dillon outscored Lake View 24-6 in the fourth to seal the win.

Dillon’s Breon Page led the Wildcats with a game-high 16 points and Jalik Bethea and Jaquan Knowlin each scored 12. Olajuwan Fenton-Torrence scored seven; Maurice Williams and Shaqui Cabbagestalk each earned five; Anthony Blue, 4; John Caulder, 3; Julius Saunders, 1; and Avery McCall and ZaQuinte Lighty each added two.

Chris Ford led Lake View with a team-high 12 points with Darius Leonard adding nine, and Michael Paige adding five. Reco Brown and Jeremy Moody each scored two and Corenthious Brunson earned one point.

Dillon improved to 3-1 with the win while Lake View slips to 0-3. The Wild Gators were scheduled to host East Clarendon on Wednesday and will host Aynor this Friday at 6:00 p.m.

Dillon was scheduled to face South Robeson on Tuesday night, and the Wildcats will travel to Marlboro County on Monday, December 17 and will be at home to host Latta on Thursday, December 20. Make plans to attend home games to support our local teams!
