Services for Charles Allen Skipper will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hamer Church of God with burial in Evergreen Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Skipper, 59, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at his residence. Born in Greenville, SC, August 13, 1953, he was the son of the late Malcolm M. Skipper and Marie Elizabeth Page Skipper. He was a member of Hamer Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Skipper of the home; son, Josh (Crystal) Skipper of Hamer; daughter, Paige Furniss of Greenwood; brothers, Malcolm (Susan) Skipper, Jr. of Charlotte, NC, Gene Skipper of Hamer, and Jerry (Diane) Page of Dillon; sister, Betty Hursey of Lake View; 3 grandchildren, Austin Furniss, Colby Furniss, and Zane Skipper.
Mr. Skipper was preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy Wayne Skipper, and Harry Bythal Skipper.
