Raymond Lindsay

Raymond Lindsay, 79, died at the Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Fork, SC, Sunday August, 19, 2012. Funeral services were held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Kannaday Funeral Home Chapel in Dillon with interment in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation was from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon.
Mr. Lindsay was born January 18, 1933 in Robeson County, NC the son of the late William Arthur and Thelma Alberta Rogers Lindsay. He was a member of Trinity Holiness Church. He worked in construction with Davis Construction Company and was employed for many years with Dillon Body Shop. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Lindsay is survived by his daughter, Sandra L. (Ernest) Boatwright of Marion, SC; his daughter-in-law, Faye Lindsay of Dillon, SC, his brothers, Lloyd Lindsay and David Lindsay, both of Dillon, SC, Wade Lindsay of Hendersonville, NC, and Horace (Debby) Lindsay of Westminister, SC; his sister, Evelyn Frease of Fayetteville, NC; and his grandchildren, Marie (Dean) Brumette of Nichols, SC, Susan Boatwright of Mullins, SC, Daniel (Christy) Lindsay of Manning, SC, and Carol L. (Jeremy) Pike of Anderson, SC; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Lindsay was predeceased by his son, Charles Lindsay; his brother, Legrand Lindsay; and his sisters, Louise L. McLean and Thelma L. Deparolis.
