Margaret Louise Stone, 72, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at her residence.
A service of remembrance will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Born January 16, 1940 in Dillon where she has resided most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Coy and Maggie Turner of Dillon, and she was the widow of the late George D. Stone.
Surviving are six children, Rosa (Lonnie) Parker, Kathy Williamson, Lynn Lane, Chris Stone, all of Dillon, Faye (John) Csonda of Mullins, and Wanda(Wayne)Wiggins of Latta; brothers, Coy (Alice) Turner of Latta, and Forest (Dean) Turner of Dillon; sisters, Judy (Bobby) Jacobs of Latta, and Lee (Jeff) Fowler of Tabor City, NC; sister-in-law, Betty Turner of Dillon; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by her sons, Donald Ray Cox and Edward Cox; and her brother, R.C. Turner.
