Charles Levon “Tweety Bird” Purnell died September 18, 2011. Funeral services were held September 22, 1 PM at New Covenant Free Rock Church in Clio with burial in Fresh Beginnings Memorial Gardens in Dillon. House of Thomas Funeral Home was in charge.
