Jane Ellen Gaddy Graham, 89, died at home in Latta, SC, July 6, 2011.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A. M. Friday, July 8, 2011 in the Latta United Methodist Church with burial in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A. M. at the church prior to the service.
Mrs. Graham was born in Latta, SC, the daughter of the late Ruby McLean and Walker L. Gaddy. She was a housewife and the widow of the late Claude W. Graham, Jr. She was a member of Latta United Methodist Church where she served as the Church Secretary, a Sunday School Teacher, a member of the Ladie’s Bible Class, and a member of the Josephine Stackhouse Circle. She also was a member of the Thursday Afternoon Bridge Club and Ladie’s Auxillary of McLeod Hospital. She was The Honor Graduate of Latta High School Class of 1939.
She is survived by two sons, Walker O. (Barbara) Graham of Latta, SC and Claude W. (Vickie) Graham, III of Latta, SC.; and one daughter, Dianne G. (James C.) Berry of Florence, SC. Survivors also include her sister, Elizabeth “Lib” Coleman, of Latta, SC, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
The family gives special thanks Mrs. Graham’s caregivers, Liliah Sampson, Loretta Ellerbe, and Stephanie Harrison.
