Memorial services for Peggy Lou Stone Hale will be held 6:00 p.m. Thursday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held following the service.
Mrs. Hale, 72, died Monday, February 14, 2011 after a long illness at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
Born in Lumberton, NC, February 25, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Walter Albert Stone and Clara Britt Stone. She was a member of Life Point Church, and was a retired LPN.
Survivors include her brother, Joseph C. Stone of Orrum, NC; sister, Alice Stone of Lancaster, CA; children, Denise Hale Manghi of Minturn, James Edward Hale of Minturn, and Julie Hale Hodges (Jimmy) of Hartsville; grandchildren, Alecea Manghi Floyd (Kelly) of Conway, and McKinlee Reese Hodges of Hartsville.
