Mrs. Beadie Johnson Stephens, 91, died at Pines Nursing Home in Dillon on Wednesday, September 29, 2010. She was born on July 8, 1919, to the late Jack and Romelle Johnson. Surviving Mrs. Stephens are her daughter, Peggie S. Cashwell (John) of Fayetteville, NC and a son, Kenneth H. Stephens (Judy) of Dillon. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Stephens was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Stephens and a son, Tommy Stephens.
Mrs. Stephens had a possession more precious than gold. She had Christian love for all people and was a faithful follower of Christ. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Odin, the Pines Nursing Home staff and the members of Union Baptist Church for the care and concern given to her.
Funeral Services will be at Union Baptist Church on Friday, October 1, 2010, at 4:30 PM, directed by Richardson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
