New Magistrate Judge Anthony B. Britt, Jr., was sworn in on Monday, July 31, 2023.
Probate Judge Teresa Campbell Smith administered the oath.
Among those present were Senator Kent Williams, Chief Magistrate Lutherine Williams, and Judge Britt’s family.
He takes over the magistrate position left vacant by the retirement of Judge Charles Spivey.
