Joan Beth spent her life in Lake View serving and loving her family and friends well. In addition to supporting and assisting her husband in farming since the beginning of their marriage, Joan Beth began her career as a social worker and juvenile probation officer. She then spent the majority of that career as a dedicated teacher and school district administrator, where she influenced the lives of countless individuals who called her a friend as well as a mentor. She had a special talent for consistently making those around her feel their importance. She was wild at heart and enjoyed pursuing her love of painting, photography, books, and exploring God’s creation, however it was obvious to all who knew her that she treasured her family as her greatest gift and loved them fully.
Surviving Joan Beth are her loving husband of more than 45 years, Michael R. Page; her children, Brock (Gretchen) Page of Darlington, SC, Parker (Annie) Page of King George, VA, and Kylie P. (Daniel) McCarthy of Lake View, S.C. Joan Beth will also be lovingly remembered by her nine grandchildren, Jordan, Getty, Finnigan, Amelia, Hudson, Ruth Louise, Sam, James, and Levi, by her brother, Ronald (Marilyn) Lupo of Fair Bluff, NC, by her close friend and sister-in-law, Doris Page Johnson of Shallotte, NC, by her close friend, Teresa Stephens of Dillon, SC, and by her honorary son, Terrance Ford of Lake View, SC.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ellen Church (Bobby Church).
