Services for Don Wingate “Wayne” Stevens will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Old Zion Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Stevens, 53, died Monday, August 23, 2010 at the Marion County Medical Center.
Born in Dillon County, February 26, 1957, he was the son of the late Troy Leroy Stevens and Christine Cook Stevens.
Survivors include his sisters and brothers, Barbara (Jim) Belknap of Greensea, Dan (Barbara) Stevens of Marion, Jim (Carol) Stevens of Dillon, Doris (Jimmy) Dillon of Nichols, Linda (Dave) Gowing of Mullins, Brenda (Evaristo) of Latta, Betty (Jimmy) Locklear, Mary (Terry) Jenkins, and Harry Stevens, all of Latta, and Kevin Jackson of Marion; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Stevens was preceded in death by his sisters, Sandra and Audrey Stevens; and his brothers, Leroy and Marvin Stevens.
