The Latta Vikings suffered a 33-13 loss against the Mullins Auctioneers on Friday, October 20, in Mullins in varsity football action.
Dylan Carter completed 11 of 13 passes for 172 yards and 2 touchdowns, picked up 34 yards on 5 carries, and also had 1 tackle for Latta.
The Vikings’ Kendall Moultrie caught 7 passes for 147 yards and 2 touchdowns, carried 3 times for 8 yards, and also had 6 tackles.
Deonte Stanley was on the receiving end of 3 passes for 25 yards while Darius McRae caught 1 pass for 5 yards. Nasir Sellers also pulled in 1 pass for 7 yards and had 1 tackle for the Vikings.
Jamarcus Legette rushed for 10 yards on 3 carries and had 5 tackles while Brandon Hayes carried 4 times for 10 yards for Latta and also had 4 tackles. Chandler Nolan led the Vikings with 19 tackles while Mikey Dotson had 11 tackles. Trey Anderson had 6 tackles and 1 sack.

Chandler Mathews and Blake Tyler each had 5 tackles in the game for the Vikings. Jay Bailey contributed 4 tackles while Hayden Graham added 3 tackles. J. R. McClam, Bridges Young, and Kiese Blake each had 2 tackles.
John Malcolm George also garnered 1 tackle for the Vikings.
Latta will host Carvers Bay on Friday, October 27, at 7:30 p.m.
