The Wild Gators shut out Hemingway 16-0 in baseball action on Tuesday night in Lake View.

Lake View scored nine runs in the bottom of the second, six in the third, and one in the fourth to claim the win. The Wild Gators had nine hits and one error, while Hemingway had just one hit and six errors.

Nate Lewis picked up the win for Lake View, pitching two innings with just one walk and five outs. Warren took the loss for Hemingway, pitching two innings for five hits, nine runs, four earned runs, six walks, and five outs.

Eric Munoz led Lake View at bat, going 2-for-2 with two doubles and four RBIs.

Lake View improves to 9-2 overall and 8-2 in Region 8A.

The Wild Gators will be in Dillon on Tuesday, April 10, for a double header with the Wildcats beginning at 5:00 p.m.

On Friday, April 13, Lake View will travel to Mullins for a non-conference game, and on Monday, April 16, the Gators will be at Johnsonville. Lake View will return home to host Latta on Friday, April 20, for their final region game of the season.
