DHEC Issues Permit For Poultry Farm Expansion

The SC Department of Health and Environmental Control has issued an agricultural permit for the expansion of an existing poultry farm and the disposal of the manure. The public notice states that the farm will have 114,000 animals with a normal production live weight at any one time of 233,700 pounds.
