Transitioning Plants Is Topic Of Glove And Trowel Garden Club Meeting

The Glove and Trowel Garden Club met Wednesday, September 10, at the City of Dillon Wellness Center with 20 members present.  

DHSF Meets

The Dillon Historic School Foundation September meeting was called to order by Chairperson Gerald Berry at 7:00 p.m. at the Dillon County Chamber of Commerce Conference Room.

Glove And Trowel Members Have Been Active Over Summer

The Glove and Trowel Garden Club does not meet during the summer months of June, July, and August, but members have been active in many activities such as placing an arrangement in Dunbar Library in observance of National Garden Week June 1 – 7; 2014.

The regular monthly meeting of DHSF (Dillon Historic School Foundation) will be Tuesday, September 2, at 7:00 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Chamber of Commerce Building.

Name Change for Local Historic School Advocacy Group

  The Dillon Historic School Foundation held their August meeting at the Dillon County Chamber of Commerce Conference Room with nine members present. Chairman Gerald Berry welcomed two new members to the organization and made several announcements.

Garden Clubbers Attend The Fair

“The FAIR” is an event sponsored by The Garden Club of South Carolina, Inc. each year for Club Presidents and members to meet and greet GCSC Officers, Committee Chairmen and see their displays, District Directors, and other garden club members from across the State.

Dillon Garden Club Visits McInnis Home

The Dillon Garden Club held its last spring meeting in the “Carolina Community” at the home of Bo and Patti McInnis.
