Pastor At Local Church Charged with Illegal Use Of Telphone

A pastor at a local church has been charged with unlawful use of telephone, according to a booking report from the Dillon County Detention Center.
William Randell Nesbit, 58, 110 Neal Lane, Myrtle Beach, was booked on November 12.
According to a report from the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred on July 24, 2013. A deputy was present with the victim when Nesbit, the pastor at Fork Chapel Baptist Church, called the victim.
The pastor allegedly asked the victim if he could be her boyfriend and said he had been watching her for a long time, according to the report.  The victim told him not to call back. On August 3, the pastor allegedly called again after being told not to do so, but the victim did not answer her phone, according to the report by Sgt. John Willie Brown.
