Dooley, Rev. Dexter Lambert, Rev. Edgar Foster and Rev. Billy McLellan officiating, burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Dillon, SC.

Admin 2The way that people consume information is changing rapidly, and I hear frequently that the death of newspapers is imminent. I think that people feel this way because they aren’t regular newspaper readers or they just don’t think that other people read newspapers as much as they did ten years ago. If they’re referring to the printed newspaper, they are usually correct.

According to the NFPA, which develops NFPA 72, National Smoke Alarm Code®, many homes still don’t have that level of protection. Unfortunately, almost two-thirds of home fire deaths per year result from fires in homes with no smoke alarms at all or no working smoke alarms.
