Public Input Sought On SNAP Food List

The S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control will conduct a series of forums to let the public recommend which foods they think should be removed from or should remain on the state’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) list of eligible foods, the agency announced today.

Outokumpu Stainless Bar, a metal fabrication company, will expand its operations in Chester County with the construction of a new plant. The $18 million investment is expected to generate 20 new jobs.

ICE Recycling Expanding In Florence County

ICE Recycling LLC, a total recycling company serving industrial plants, has expanded its operations in Florence County. The $1.05 million investment is expected to generate 15 new jobs.
