PHOTO GALLERY: Dillon Christian School Defeats Carolina Academy, 79-43

The Dillon Christian School Warriors defeated the Carolina Academy Bobcats 79-43 in varsity boys basketball action played in Dillon on Friday, December 9, before a large group of fans.
The Warriors controlled the opening tip-off and began to amass a large lead in the first quarter scoring at will to take a 31-9 lead after the first quarter. By halftime, the Warriors were up 42-24. After 3 quarters of play, the Warriors were up 67-35.
The Warriors connected well with their shooting while substituting freely during the entire game. The Dillon Christian School Warriors connected with eight 3-point baskets and twenty-four 2-point baskets in the game while converting 7 free throws.
The Warriors’ Jackson Outlar led all scorers with 25 points of which 18 of those were six 3-point baskets, three 2-point baskets, and a free throw. Ryheim Manning sank seven 2-point baskets and 4 free throws for 18 points. Greyson Singletary had two 2-point baskets and a 3-point basket for 7 points. Ford Richardson, Jafari Jones, and Jacob Hunt each had 6 points with three 2-point baskets. Rahmon Hamilton had two 2-point baskets and 2 free throws for 6 points. Cale McPherson had a
2-point baskets, and Eli Bethea sank a free throw.
The Carolina Academy Bobcats were led in scoring by Turner with 9 points. He had two 2-point baskets, a 3-point basket, and 2 free throws. McCutcheon had two 2-point baskets and 4 free throws for 8 points. McElveen added 6 points with three 2-point baskets. Sauls added 6 points with two 2-point baskets and 2 free throws. Martinez added 6 points with two 2-point baskets and 2 free throws. Lamb connected for a 2-point basket and 2 free throws for 4 points. Bradley and Joyner each had a 2-point basket.
Dillon committed 10 fouls in the first half and 5 fouls in the second half while Carolina Academy committed only 2 fouls in the first half and 4 fouls in the second half.
The Warriors will travel to Florence Christian on Friday, December 16, with junior varsity games beginning at 4:00 p.m.
