Services for Carolyn C. Carter were 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 31, 2022 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation was held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mrs. Carter, 89, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022 at her residence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, September 18, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Caulder and Missouri Dorman Caulder. She was a member of Sardis Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Benny Carter of Latta; sons, Gregory (Gail) Carter, and Terry (Linda) Carter, both of Sellers; grandchildren, Meredith Coleman, Chase Carter, Amber Carter, and Sarah Carter; great-grandchildren, Kipton and Carter Coleman, Braylin Carter, Jordan Carter, C.J. Berry, Trenton Watson, Rylee Grace, and Connor Bowman; half-brother, Carl Caulder of Latta; half-sisters, Patricia (Rowland) Wiggins, and Paulette Curry, both of Latta. Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur & Missouri Caulder; step-mother, Lila Caulder; and her brother, Wayde Caulder.
