District Four Students Recognized For Perfect Scores

Dillon School District Four Board of Trustees held their regularly scheduled board meeting on Monday, October 17, 2022. At the meeting, two students were recognized for making perfect scores on their 2022 spring state assessments. Family members joined district staff and board members at 6:30 p.m. for a recognition ceremony. Zy’Kiera Aaron and Zoe Rogers were recognized for having a perfect score on their 5th grade SC READY math test.
Superintendent, Ray Rogers, congratulated each student for a job well-done. He presented the deserving students with a personalized certificate and a Hallowe’en bag filled with special treats. In closing,
Mr. Rogers encouraged the students to continue their academic excellence. He also recognized the parents of the students, Rashawn and Kimberly Aaron, and Jessica and Ray Rogers, who were in attendance. Also, in attendance was Erin Burt, assistant principal at Gordon Elementary. Zy’Kiera’s 5th grade math teacher at Gordon Elementary was Ms. Antionette Bostic. Zoe’s 5th grade math teacher at Gordon Elementary was Ms. Shamada Davis.
Of special note, both of the students recognized are students in the gifted and talented academic program.
