Violent Crime Task Force Operation Yields Arrests

Law Enforcement with the Dillon County/Dillon City Violent Crime Task Force conducted operations on July 8, 2022 to combat crime throughout the Dillon County/City of Dillon. Law Enforcement officers did go out into the communities to locate suspects who did already have active arrest warrants, as well as to try to prevent any further crimes from taking place. This operation led to the seizure of illegal narcotics, as well as unlawful firearms, and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency due to its relevance with the sale of illegal narcotics. These operations will continue and there will be more arrest to come in the very near future. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
—Dustin Howard Moore of Mount Calvary was arrested and charged with Distribution of Methamphetamine, Distribution of Schedule I narcotics, as well as possession of other substance in schedule I, II, or III.
—Rondell Wright of the Newtown area was arrested and charged with Distribution of Cocaine base narcotics (x2), possession of other substance in schedule I, II, or III, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, as well as trafficking in cocaine 10 grams or more.
—Nathan Shane Moore of Dillon was arrested and charged with the Manu., possession of Narcotic in schedule I(b)(c), Unlawful Possession of a weapon, as well as Violation of restraining order.
—Nicholas Earl Roberts of Oakland was arrested and charged with Distribution of Cocaine Base narcotic, as well as Distribution of Schedule I(b)(c), and a Schedule II.
—Eric Ty’Von Dixon of Riverdale was arrested and charged with Distribution or manuf., possession of other substance in Schedule I,II, or III narcotics.
—Nasim Rayquan Whitley of Newtown was arrested and charged with trafficking in MDMA or ecstasy 100 dosage units or more, possession of other substance in schedule I,II, or III narcotic, as well as possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
—Lakeda Mekhi Seven-x was arrested and charged with trafficking in MDMA or ecstasy 100 dosage units or more, possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
—Ladson Lafon Bruce of Dillon was arrested and charged with Attempted Murder, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
The Violent Crime Task Force, which consists of members within The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office, as well as the Dillon Police Department will continue to fight the drug epidemic as well as the violence within this county/city in its entirety.
