A successful Latta community clean-up day was held in Latta on Saturday, June 25th.
The event was supported by the Latta Neighborhoods Improvement Alliance, the Latta Revitalization Commission, and the Latta Town Council.
The Latimer School area, the Henry Street Park, and Academy Street Park were cleaned by the groups.
Additionally, it was reported to The Herald that the park on Smith Street was also cleaned by local residents in the area.
The event was a huge success, and another is expected to be planned in the fall.
