Lady Vikings Play Successful Matches In Volleyball

The Latta Lady Vikings returned home on Thursday, October 14, winning 4 straight games in the double-header played in varsity volleyball in Kingstree against the Lady Jaguars.
Latta picked up a 25-9 in game 1 of the first of the double-header and won the second game 25-11.
In game one Savannah Horne had 5 aces while Ragan Bethea had 4 kills and 2 good serves received. Savannah Miller had 3 assists and a dig while Alissa Anderson, Mason Lockamy, and Hannah Coleman each had a dig.
In the second games of the double-header, Latta won game one 25-9 and game two 25-13.
Rylyn Marsh had 5 kills, 3 assists, and 2 good serves received while Mason Lockamy had 3 aces and 5 digs. Latta is 7-3 overall and 7-1 in region play. Latta will travel to Marion for a 6:00 p.m. game today (Tuesday, October 19). Support your team.

The Latta Lady Vikings picked up a 3-2 action-packed win over the visiting Lee Central Lady Stallions in varsity volleyball played in Latta on Wednesday. The scores were: game 1: 34-32 win for Lee Central; game 2: 25-9 win for Latta; game 3: 25-9 win for Latta; game 4: 25-21 win for Lee Central; and game 5: 19-17 win for Latta.
Latta’s Rylyn Marsh had 8 aces and 10 assists. Ava Rogers contributed 11 kills in the game for the Latta Lady Vikings. Savannah Horne had 2 digs and 3 good serves received while Mason Lockamy had 2 digs. Latta is 5-1 in region play and 5-3 overall.
