The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a Rowland man wanted for first degree murder.
On Friday September 3, 2021 at approximately 8:16 p.m., Robeson County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a 911 call regarding a subject shot at 35 Troy Drive, Lumberton NC.
Upon arrival, deputies and EMS personnel located Tracy Worriax, 64, of Lumberton deceased inside the home.
Detectives are now searching for Demarreon McDaniel, 28, of Rowland. He fled the scene in a 2013 Chevrolet Impala which has since been located by Deputies with the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
McDaniel is wanted for First Degree Murder and Larceny of a Motor Vehicle. McDaniel is considered armed and dangerous.
