Dillon City Council Passes 2021-2022 Budget

The Dillon City Council recently passed their 2021-22 budget.
The general fund budget includes a two mil increase and a three percent sanitation increase.
Items included in the general fund budget include a two percent salary increase, one percent merit increase, the purchase of a commercial trash truck, a Downtown Coordinator/Grant Writer position, and three police cars.
The water and sewer budget includes a three percent water and sewer increase. Items included in the water and sewer budget includes a two percent salary increase, a one percent merit increase, a work, a mini excavator, a meter reading truck, and a trench box.
The new budget went into effect on July 1, 2021 and ends on June 30, 2022.
