John Joseph (Jack) Bohachic, Jr.

CLEMSON—John Joseph (Jack) Bohachic, Jr., 78, of Clemson, SC, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Regency Hospital in Greenville, SC, after a long illness.

Jack was born December 1, 1942 in Pittsburgh, PA. In high school, Jack moved with his family to Dillon, SC.
After high school, Jack joined the United States Air Force.
Upon his return to Dillon, Jack helped run the family business before working for and retiring from the United States Postal Service after 30 years.
Jack was a dedicated member of St. Louis Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
In his younger years, Jack enjoyed fishing, golfing and shag dancing. Jack was passionate about serving his community as a volunteer fireman and as a member of the Dillon Rescue Squad.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, John Joseph Sr. and Olga Bohachic of Dillon and 2 sisters, Elizabeth (Betty) Grimsley of Dillon and Barbara Cambest of Pittsburgh, PA. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Madge Moody Bohachic of Clemson, SC; Brother James Bohachic (Patricia) of Dillon; two daughters Audrey Barrett (Dave) of Johns Creek, GA and Emily Bobbitt (Michael) of Greenville and five grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 p.m., Sunday, August 8, 2021, in the Chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, 108 Cross Creek Road, Central, S.C. 29630. The family will receive friends at the funeral home starting at 1 p.m. prior to the service.
