Services for Lenward Lane will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2021 at the Dillon Church of God with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Lane, 76, passed away Friday, May 7, 2021 at Regency Hospital in Florence.
Born June 9, 1944, he was the son of the late Evander Lane and Viola Hyatt Lane. He attended the Dillon Church of God, and was the owner and operator of L&L Body Shop.
Survivors include his wife, Juliet D. Lane of Dillon; daughter, Beverly Horne (Jay) of Dillon; son, Stephen Lane (April) of Marion; 3 grandchildren, Michael Horne, Zoe Horne, and Zack Lane; great-granddaughter, Darla Lane, and Jonah Hooks; 3 step-grandchildren, Courtney Cox (Matthew), Katelyn Hooks (Noah), and Megan Webster; brothers, John C. Lane (Margaret), Lebrine Lane (Larry), Larry Lane, and Billy Lane (Ann); sister, Eppie Hodges.
Mr. Lane was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Mervin Lane; and sisters, Dorothy Strickland and Shirley Smith.
