Alice Faye Brigman Allen

LATTA – Alice Faye Allen Brigman, 76, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at Medical University of South Carolina in Florence. A graveside service to celebrate her life was held at 3:00 p.m. on January 24, 2021, at Magnolia Cemetery with Pastor Jim Owens officiating. Kannaday Funeral Home in Latta is assisting the family.
Mrs. Brigman was born in Marion, SC, October 18, 1944, the daughter of the late Herbert and Nina Johnson Allen.
Her faith in God was shown through her membership at New Life Family Worship Center in Dillon.
She retired after twenty-seven years as the church secretary at Latta United Methodist Church. Alice was the widow of Richard B. Brigman.
She leaves to cherish her memories to her sons, Ricky Brigman (Wendy) and Sammy Brigman (Amanda) both of Latta, SC; brother, Robert Allen (Judy) of Georgia; sister, Vicky Allen of Cherry Grove, SC; grandchildren, Samantha Brigman, Lydia Brigman and Shawn Wilkes (Nicole); great-grandchildren, Zack Lane (Christina), Travon Johnson, Monica Johnson, Mashala Johnson, Quintin Wilkes, Dakoda Godbold, and Mercy Wilkes and great-great grandchildren, Nora Lane and Nathan Lane.
Mrs. Brigman was preceded in death by her brother, Herbert Gene Allen; sister, Brenda Allen Hopkins; and grandchild, Michelle Wilkes.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Life Family Worship Center Building Fund, 2470 U.S. Highway 301 South, Dillon, SC 29536.
