THE FUNERAL for Marion County Deputy David Price was held at Dillon’s First Baptist Church on Wednesday afternoon. Marion County Sheriff Brian Wallace remembered Price as first as a Christian man, then a family man, and lastly as a professional law enforcement officer. He said a photo circulated on Facebook showed Price holding the hand of his son leading him home. Wallace said his Bible teaches him that on last Wednesday night, Price’s father, our Lord and Savior, took Price’s hand and led him home.
