PHOTO GALLERY: Dillon First Baptist Church Holds Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

Dillon First Baptist Church held two Christmas Eve Candlelight Services at 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve. The prelude was by Martha Whisnand. Maggie Boykin sang “Christmas Hallelujah.” This was followed by the Christmas carol, “O Come, All Ye Faithful.”
Jamie Arnette, lead pastor, gave the Christmas greeting. Ricky and Beth Williams at the 3:00 p.m. service and Leon and Patty Peacock at the 5:00 p.m. service lit the Christ Candle on the advent wreath. This was followed by the singing of “Away In A Manger.” The song of worship, “Glory In The Highest,” was sung in the Praise Band team. The scripture reading was “The Christmas Story” (Luke 2:1-20). “Messiah” was sung by the Praise Band Team. The Christmas Meditation, The Perfect Gift,” was given by Jamie Arnette. The Lighting of the Candles was done as “Silent Night” played. The benediction was give by Pastor Jamie Arnette. The parting chorus was “Joy To The World.”
