Morrie Grace Brewer, 88, passed to her ultimate goal of Heaven on December 18, 2020 to rejoin so many family and friends she longed to see.
She was the daughter of R.W. Anderson and Iona Ivey Anderson. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Ruby Blackburn, Frances Williamson, Robert Anderson, and her daughter Jenny Conner. She is survived by her son Dr. Tim Brewer and wife Sheryl of Charlotte, NC, granddaughter: Audrey Brewer of Stanley, NC, grandsons: Justin Brewer of Davidson, NC, Joshua Conner of San Marcos, Texas, and Jacob Conner of Sherman, Texas, and sisters: Barbara Clark and Betty Elliott. She will be missed by her friends at Lake View Apartments whom she loved dearly.
Her life was dedicated to serving people and she used every resource available to share her love for God and mankind. She loved her church family and was a faithful member of Trinity Holiness Church.
A graveside service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Lake View Perpetual Cemetery. Please observe mask and social distancing guidelines as a precaution for all involved and if you are ill and high-risk we ask for you to stay home and safe.
We, the family, would like to thank the hospital staff and nurses at McLeod Hospital, and McLeod Hospice House, Dr. Adabala, Dr. Ross, and Dr. Shah in Florence, SC. Your compassion and care to her was incredible and the family is so appreciative of how you treated her with respect.
