The Deacon Ordination of Andrew Campbell was held on Sunday, August 30, at 6:00 p.m., at the Mount Calvary Baptist Church.
A congregational hymn opened the service followed by Rev. Harold Cooke’s welcome and prayer.
Rev. Cook introduced Andrew Campbell to the congregation and visitors who were present.
After the recommendation of the Presbytery, Rev. Cooke had a charge to the candidate followed by a charge to the church. Music Director Gene Tanner provided special music that was followed by the Laying on of Hands.
Rev. Cooke had a prayer of dedication.
Afterwards there was a presentation of the Ordination Certificate to Andrew who was joined by his wife, Frannie.
Rev. Cooke invited all to attend a reception in the Fellowship Hall after the Benediction.
