A mother and her boyfriend are charged in connection with the shooting of a two-year-old on South Fourth Avenue this past Saturday night, September 19th, according to Dillon Police Chief David Lane.
Lane said police have arrested Khadijah Goodson, age 26, of Dillon, who is charged with child neglect violent and filing false felony police report, and Jamqual Brown, age 27, of Dillon, who is charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, and possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a violent felony.
The child is recovering. No further information is being released at this time.
