A man is charged with attempted murder for cutting a woman last week, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
Marcus Lavon Locklear, age 24, of Little Rock was arrested and charged with attempted murder in the incident.
On Tuesday, August 11, deputies with the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence in Little Rock in reference to a person that had been assaulted by being cut, Arnette said.
Upon arrival deputies located a female victim who had been cut.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
