The Dillon Internal Medicine Hurricanes handed the McLeod Health Dillon a 4-1 loss on Monday in Minor League action played at the Dillon Kiwanis Ball Park behind the pitching of Gray Easterling who came within 1 pitch of the first complete game of the season in the minor league.
After 1 inning of play the Hurricanes were up 3-0.
In the top of the second inning, McLeod Health Dillon placed a run on the scoreboard to cut the lead to 3-1.
In the bottom of the second inning, the Hurricanes added a run to return the lead to 3 runs, 4-1.
There was plenty of action in the remainder of the game. However, no one crossed home plate safely.
