Dillon Internal Medicine 4, Lake View Central Pharmacy 2
Bryson Davis and Gray Easterling pitched a combined 2-hitter and DIM took advantage of seven bases on balls in the second inning to defeat Central Pharmacy of Lake View 4-2 in a single game on Monday. Mills Wallace had the only hit for the winners and for Lake View, Hayden Smith and Zaiden Burroughs had singles. Davis was the winning pitcher and Burroughs took the loss.

ACE Hardware 2
Latta pounded out eleven hits off ACE pitching on the way to a 10-2 victory over the previously unbeaten Tigers in Thursday’s first game on Ray Wilson Field. JJ Welsh doubled and singled driving three runs and Braxton Bailey homered, singled and reached bases on a fielding error, Easton Lampley also had two hits as the trio led all batters. Caden Hyatt also had a 2-run homerun in a 5th inning, 5-run rally. Trenton Watson, Darren Alford, Case Price and Danny McDowell also had singles in the hitting attack. Jasper McIntyre blasted a solo homerun over the left field fence in a losing cause for ACE Hardware’s lone hit in the contest.

Latta A&B Country Kitchen 7, McLeod-Dillon 2
Chaz Smith tripled twice with two runs batted in and Easton Marsh had an rbi double and single to lead Latta to a 7-2 win over McLeod. Mason Stephens had the only base hit for McLeod. Marsh was credited with the pitching win working two innings on the mound and Jasper McIntyre suffered the loss.

Tuesday, June 23
Lake View Jackson Contracting 10, Dillon Family Dental Giants 1
Lake View came out with bats blazing against the previously unbeaten Giants and won with a 10-1 decision. Four different players had two or more hits for the winners with Bryce King leading the way with three hits in as many at-bats including a double. Ian Capps drove in 3 runs with a double and single in two official times at bat and with two more hits for the winners were Liam Newell and Cooper Jackson. Za Robertson tripled and Jaden Williamson collected a single for the ony hits off two Lake View hurlers.

Lake View Market 0, Physicians Healthcare Yankees 0
Avery Sherman struck out six of eight Lake View Market batters in two innings and the Yankees were batting in the bottom of the second when lightning and a heavy downpour sent the fans running for their cars in the nightcap. The game will not be completed.

Friday, June 26
Badcock 7, Herald Publishing 5
Badcock outlasted Herald Publishing with seven runs on eleven hits to five scores on ten hits at Ray Wilson Field on Friday. Jeremy Oxendine hit safely on three trips to the plate as did Chuck Green and Ny McLauglin hit a pair of triples in three times to the plate. Jaquan Graves singled twice to round out the hitting for the winners.

Dillon Body Shop 3, Dillon Community Pharmacy 3
Dillon Community Pharmacy scored a run in the first inning on three hits and held the slim lead until Dillon Body Shop scored three times in the top of the fourth on an inside the park homerun by Chuck Green. Community Pharmacy tied the game in the fifth on a double by Matthew Lee and a two-run single by Cole Altman. In Coach Pitch play, once the clock reaches the time limit allotted, play ceases and when the third out was made with two runners on base for DCM in the sixth, the game was called. For the winners, Lee had three hits including a double to lead the way at the plate. Easton Eller had a pair of singles and Zayden Johnston singled twice. With one hit apiece were Cain Berry, Cole Altman, Levi Willis and Chris Campbell. In a losing cause Avery Wagner had two hits, Chuck Green had two, including his game tying homerun and with one hit apiece were Cabriel Ayers, Stone Smith , Ny McLaughlin, Ian Sanchez and Jayden Oliver.
