Mrs. Carrew M. Williams, age 98, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at McLeod Health in Dillon after an illness.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 6, 2019 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Born in Dillon County, SC, December 22, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Durham McKenzie and Lillian Prevatte McKenzie. She was the oldest active member of the Dillon Church of God where she taught Sunday School, and played the piano.
Survivors include her son, John David Williams of McLean, Virginia; grandchildren, John D. Williams, Jr. (Maryann) of Little River, SC, and Jerry A. Williams of Hagerstown, MD; great-grandchildren, Colt & Josh Williams of Dillon; great-great-grandchildren, Alexis Lynn Williams, Laykyn Williams, Baylee and Madison Williams; also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
